How do I install Photoshop brushes?

1. First download your chosen brush set. If it is compressed in an archive such as .zip, the first extract .abr files into any folder. Each .abr file can contain multiple Photoshop brushes. Open the Photoshop.

3. Right-click on the image area in the Photoshop. Click on the menu button in the top right corner of the popup and select option "Load Brushes...". Now, select the .abr files you have downloaded and click "Load".

How do I manage and preview my brushes?

There are a couple of free brush viewers such as BrushView and ABRviewer. If you use mac, you can buy Brush Pilot. It is very handy and nice: you can manage all your brushes with it and it can find all Photoshop brushes on your computer.

Can I use these brushes for commercial projects?

You should first consult the license of the brush set. You can also contact the author of the brush set for permission. Usually brush sets can be used in both commercial and personal project. However, you may not redistribute these brushes in any shape or form.

Which versions of Photoshop support these brushes?

Usually the brushes will work fine in all Photoshop CS versions. However, sometimes we indicate in which specific version of Photoshop the brush set will work.
